Wow! I still have a little longer to go (for some random reason, my last exam is the Tuesday after Memorial Day) but I know exactly how you feel. I can't believe it will all be over so soon. Have a great day tomorrow!

Agreed! Earlier this year, something happened with the freshman class at my school during our Homecoming pep rally... I don't remember exactly what, maybe there was a fight or something, but it really sucked because they ended up having to cancel th…

European travels: Rothenburg, Germany

Guten Tag!

After going to some countries in Europe for Spring Break with the school, I thought it would be nice to wrap up every region in one blog post. If there's one thing I learned from this ten day trip, it's that -when in Europe - you need all the background info, tips and shortcuts you can get.

For this post, we'll start off with Rothenburg, Germany.

Pep your school, not class

Although the Spring pep rally as a whole seems completely pointless to me, what's even worse is everybody's attitude.

The point of a pep rally is to cheer on the sports team to beat rival schools; it's not an excuse to howl like an animal or be immature towards other classes. You go into… Continue

Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus

It's the end of third quarter, meaning one thing: prom season.

You walk through the halls, see people's Facebook statuses and eavesdrop on conversations about the cute dress someone got or what the plans are for after. Then, there's the inevitable: "who are you going to prom with?"

It's cute, funny, but most of all, frustrating to hear all the gossip about who likes wh… Continue

Rep. Hudson is Of By and For the People

Most Democrats tend to shove off a Reublican whenever they get in to a conversation and vice versa. At least, I had a tendency of doing that. In AP Gov./Pol. we're required to complete a civic involvement project during the third and fourth quarter, each consisting of three tasks. One is interviewing a local politician. I was able to snag an interview with a State Representative: Matt Hudson.
Despite him being a Republican and me a hardcore Democrat, I paid attention to every detail and w… Continue
